Estonian Language Fair "KU-КУ" comes again!

The aim of the Estonian Language Fair is to introduce the possibilities of learning Estonian.

On KU-КУ you have the opportunity to:

  • get to know the latest learning materials;
  • play brand new language learning games;
  • find yourself a suitable form of language learning;
  • get advice on how to prepare for the language exam;
  • get familiar with the language immersion methodology;
  • participate in language cafés;
  • participate in workshops that introduce differences in language learning methodologies, teach you to choose a methodology based on your needs, and use the surrounding tools and opportunities on a daily basis.

Adults with different Estonian language skills and different language learning needs are welcome to attend the fair.

Every hour, there is a lottery at the fairgrounds, you are invited to visit the café, and fun activities are organized for children. Entertainment at the Tallinn Fair:

Workshops:

 

At 11.30 and 15.00

`Language café with a guest´, where Tallinn Estonian language house teachers Mari Taalmann and Aljona Kordontšuk are introducing the methodology of language café. Guests: Míša Snopková and Nikolai Kunitsõn.

 

At 11.30 and 15.15

`Language environment around us´, where Tallinn Estonian language house teachers Liisi Kattago and Inna Arno are teaching to use surrounding tools and opportunities for studying Estonian in everyday life.

 

At 11.30 and 13.30

`Language-learning techniques´, where Tallinn Estonian language house teachers Krista Tukk and Pille Veisserik are explaining which learning techniques can help to develop and improve language skills.

 

At 13.30 and 15.30

`Estonian language play and improvisation-based course ЮХАН´, where Mare Kitsnik is demonstrating the methodology through practice and explaining how and why it helps to learn the language.

 

At 11.30 

`Board games at levels A1, A2 and B1´. Teachers from Multilingua language school are demonstrating opportunities for language learning through board games. Workshop is for adult Estonian language teachers.

 

At 12.45 c

`Board games at levels B2 and C1´. Teachers from Multilingua language school are demonstrating opportunities for language learning through board games. Workshop is for adult Estonian language teachers.

 

At 13.15

`Getting to know new Estonian language textbook „K nagu Kihnu“ and preparation for B2 level exam´, where Mall Pesti is introducing her new study material and giving recommendations for exam preparation.
