Consultations
The advisors at the Estonian Language House provide comprehensive and personalized support for learning Estonian, integrating into life in Estonia, and adapting to a new living environment. Counselling helps you better understand your opportunities, set clear goals, and make informed decisions to support your language learning and further development.
During the counselling process, we will work together to identify your goals, previous language learning experience, and individual needs. Based on this, we will help you find the most suitable solutions—whether language courses, independent study, or other services that support your language learning skills and confidence in Estonian society.
We offer three types of counselling services:
Through counselling, you will receive practical support to help you learn more consciously, overcome potential obstacles, and move confidently toward your goals.
LANGUAGE LEARNING, ADAPTATION, AND INTEGRATION COUNSELLING
Counselling on language learning, adaptation, and integration is a free service that supports Estonian language learners and people adapting to life in Estonia in finding clarity, confidence, and direction. It offers an opportunity to discuss questions related to language learning and adaptation in a safe and supportive environment and to find solutions based on your needs and goals.
The counsellor will help you define clear goals and introduce opportunities that support your language learning, everyday coping, and integration into Estonia.
You will also receive guidance on taking the first steps in independent language learning and on developing a learning rhythm that suits you. The counsellor supports you in maintaining motivation and helps you find practical ways to learn consistently and move step by step toward your goals. Together, you will agree on clear and achievable steps that help you move forward with greater confidence.

Peer-to-peer counseling is a free service that supports Estonian language learners and people adapting to life in Estonia in building motivation, confidence, and clarity.

A peer-to-peer counsellor provides a safe, empathetic space for conversation and supports you in finding solutions by drawing on your own strengths and resources.
