Singing Picnic (Narva)

The Integration Foundation is once again organising the SINGING PICNIC in Narva.

Let us spend some fun time together, enjoying the picnic, listening to the concert, and singing and dancing along.

  • The programme includes songs from Narva and Estonia in Estonian, Russian, Ukrainian, and Votic languages.
  • The main performer at the picnic is the tandem choir of the Estonian Language House in Narva. They will be performing with the Paldiski mixed choir.
  • Performers from Ida-Viru County and elsewhere will take the stage.
  • There will also be a surprise performer at the end of the evening!

Let us explore the richness of our culture and celebrate the anniversary of independence restoration of Estonia together.

The Singing Picnic will take place on the slope of the castle in Joaorg. There will be a trampoline park and street food will also be sold.

Bring everything you need for a picnic (food and a picnic blanket) and wear clothes suitable for the weather (in case of rain, we recommend bringing a raincoat).

The Soviet Union is falling apart and Estonia is striving for independence. The team faces a difficult decision whether to compete or not. Going against society's wishes, the team's journey will be stormy. However, players and coaches have only one goal - to win!

The movie nights´ aim is to introduce contemporary Estonian films and improve listening, reading, and discussion skills. Mafia Game Night A2+ (Jõhvi)

Once a month, we are organising an exciting Mafia role-playing night for people interested in Estonian. During the evening, the participants will be able to communicate with each other in Estonian in a relaxed atmosphere.

This is a legendary and super fun party game, in which the citizens of a city aim to remove all mafia members from society, while the mafia aim to gain an upper hand – a situation where there are more mafia members than citizens.

The game is simple and requires no special preparation or prior practice. The game is a lot of fun and very exciting because, similarly to a poker game where people get eliminated, the Mafia players will want to try again immediately. The game of Mafia requires attention, logic, and people skills. The more you play Mafia, the more you learn about people – you will be able to tell when someone is lying. So, the game also has an educational and a psychological aspect.
